Head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko has outlined the ambition of his team following their 3-0 victory over struggling King Faisal in the BetPawa Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The reigning champions of the league dismantled the Inshallah Boys courtesy of Steven Mukwala, Richard Boadu and Nicholas Mensah.
However, the Porcupines gaffer has set his sights on having a great season with the Ghanaian champions and not only the mindset to defend the title.
It is known that the Porcupine Warriors aim to reclaim the league title and going three games unbeaten gives them the hope to shine this season.
When asked about what he wants his side to achieve by the end of the season, the Burkunabé tactician said, “Our ambition is to have a very nice season. I wouldn’t say winning the trophy or something but having a nice season,” he told StarTimes.
A second win in three games keeps Kotoko within touching distance of league leaders Aduana Stars and Accra Lions, who have taken maximum points so far.
The Porcupine Warriors will face Bechem United who sit fifteenth in an outstanding fixture on Thursday at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
