Isaac Oppong has been handed a starting berth in Kotoko’s line-up to face FC Samartex after two games of absence.
He missed the team’s last two fixtures against King Faisal and Bechem United.
The reigning champions enter the game as the favourite despite a defeat against Bechem United in their outstanding fixture on Thursday.
They were humbled 2-0 by the Hunters at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park but Seydou Zerbo’s side will hope to recover and get back to the winning ways.
Asante Kotoko has picked two wins and one draw out of four games in this term’s BetPawa Premier League.
Their official line-up for this afternoon’s clash has Danlad Ibrahim who starts in the posts ahead of Moise Pouaty with Agyapong, John Tedeku, Yussif Mubarik and Sherrif Mohammed playing as the back four.
Also in the starting line-up is captain, Richard Boadu Agadas, Justice Blay and Steven Mukwala who netted his first goal of the season against King Faisal.
However, Richmond Lamptey, Dickson Afoakwa, Enoch Morrison and Andrew Appau will also start from the Bechem.
The Reds will have to find a way to compete against Annor Walker’s side, who are yet to concede defeat.
