FC Samartex head coach, Annor Walker has admitted that the Porcupine Warriors were the better side on Sunday in the BetPawa Premier League week five meeting at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Samartex failed to pick their first victory after snatching the lead in the first half through Prince Antwi.
Asante Kotoko came from behind in the second half to claim a 2-1 win courtesy of Nicholas Mensah and Augustine Agyapong.
Speaking to StarTimes after the game, Coach Annor Walker said, “I will say I lost to a better side. I agree. I lost to a better side. I told you earlier on that I don’t have the men but just that am managing but all the same they are playing well. They are not playing badly at all but I will say is just unfortunate that we have to lose to a better side.”
He further said they were not having patience in defense but wanted to react quickly.
“I will say is a lost of concentration. They were not having patience in defense that was another factor. They always want to be quick, they want to react quickly and that also caused us.”
