Congolese defender, Raddy Ovouka has returned to Hearts of Oak after spending eleven month on loan with USLC team New Mexico United according to Phobia News.
The experienced left-back left the Ghanaian in January 2022 after joining them four seasons ago, helping them to do the double under Samuel Boadu in 2021.
During his time with New Mexico United, he made 11 appearances and recorded 2 goals and 2 assists. His stellar performance sparked transfer rumors that would keep the Congolese at New Mexico United, but ultimately the American side has yet to agree on a deal with the Phobians.
Prior to his departure in January 2022, Ovouka had carved a niche for himself as the best left-back in Ghana’s elite division and stood as one of the most exciting players to watch.
He is expected to feature for the Phobians in January.
