Former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan has officially acquired a UEFA B coaching license.
The leading goal scorer of the Black Stars is now eligible to start his coaching career after being awarded his UEFA B licence.
He was in class for a six-day residential course organized by the Football Association of Wales.
The 36-year-old hasn’t played for the Black Stars since July 2019 after the AFCON. He has insisted that he has not retired from active football hopes to get back.
He was aiming to play at the upcoming FIFA World Cup despite staying inactive for a lengthy period but he was snubbed by Otto Addo with his name missing from the final 26-man squad.
Gyan made his international debut at the age of 17, three days before his 18th birthday in 2003 and he is now the leading goal scorer of the Black Stars with 51 goals.
He is also the only African player to score six goals in the history of the World Cup.
