• Issah Kuka and Abagna’s second-half goals helped RTU to beat Kotoko, who were desperate to occupy first place on the league table before Sunday.

Asante Kotoko suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Real Tamale United in the BetPawa Premier League matchday eight fixture.

The Porcupine Warriors scored the first goal in the 43rd minute through Georges Mfegue’s perfectly timed volleyed shot.

In the second half, Kotoko was totally outplayed as 61st and 63rd-minute goals from Issah Kukua and Abagna saw them suffering a second defeat of the season.
