The Black Galaxies are currently training at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram ahead of the CHAN 2023 tournament which begins in January next year.
The camp is meant to last for about two weeks in Ghana before the team moves to Saudi Arabia or Spain to continue preparation for the competition.
Only three key players (Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Danlad Ibrahim and Latif Anabila) are missing from the 40-man squad but they are expected to report later.
Barnieh and Danlad were among Ghana’s 26-man squad for the World Cup but failed to kick a ball at the tournament.
Ghana were eliminated from the group stages after finishing last with three points in Group H.
The tournament will kick start on 13th January 2023 and the Galaxies will play Madagascar on the 15th January before the games against Madagascar and Sudan in Group C. Ghana have not featured in the last three CHAN tournaments.
