English Premier League side, Manchester United have registered Ghanaian youth midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo in their UEFA Europa League B squad for the 2022/23 season.
Kobbie Mainoo who has been hailed as one to watch at Manchester United has been tipped to emulate Garnacho.
The 17-year-old was part of the FA Youth Cup winning XI alongside Garnacho last season.
He has been training regular with the first team and has stepped up regularly to the under-21s this season.
United flew to Cadiz on Saturday ahead of two friendlies against Cadiz on Wednesday and Real Betis on Saturday to prepare for the resumption of the domestic season.
The majority of the members of last season’s FA Youth Cup-winning squad have been named in the travelling squad. Kobbie Mainoo has been unused substitute for the first team this season while Charlie McNeill came on for his debut against Real Sociedad in September.
The English Premier League giants will come up against Barcelona in their next UEFA Europa League fixture in February 2023.
