Black Galaxies secured a 3-1 win over Mountaineers Football Club in friendly as part of preparations for the CHAN 2023 tournament.
David Abagna, Jonah Attuquaye and Augustine Boakye each scored for the Black Galaxies at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence – Prampram.
Awako, Suraj Seidu, Evans Owusu and Stephen Kwaku also featured for the team in today’s test match against the lower-tier club.
The victory maintained Coach Annor Walker’s good run since taking over as the manager of the local-based national team.
The Galaxies had surprised Nigeria by reaching the CHAN tournament which kicks off on 13th January in Algeria.
They have been paired with Morocco, Madagascar, and Sudan in Group C.
Next for the team is against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium and will be hoping to welcome Black Stars duo, Danlad Ibrahim and Afriyie Barnieh.
