Black Stars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has emerged as the fastest player in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar despite Ghana’s group stage exit.
The winger tops a tall list of speedsters at the tournament with an acceleration of 35.7 kilometers per hour with fewer match minutes under his sleeves. Ghana’s last group game against Uruguay paved the way for him to record that feat a game he was a second half substitute.
Spanish-born Ghanaian, Nico Williams closely follows with a speed of 35.6km/h in a game against Germany. Alphonso Davies of Canada chalked the third position with a speed of 35.6km/h in their game against Croatia.
Nico Williams and Alphonso Davies tasted more games for their countries respectively and are all out after Morocco shockingly eliminated Spain in the round of 16 stage.
