Asante Kotoko defender, Sheriff Mohammed has reportedly received a late call-up to the Black Galaxies for preparations ahead of the CHAN tournament.
As reported, the defender is expected to join the team before Friday as they prepare to face Hearts of Oak in friendly on Sunday.
Only one Kotoko player (Augustine Agyapong) was named in the 40-man provisional squad for preparations but the former EuroAfrica player will join to make it two.
The talented center-back joined Asante Kotoko in August on a three-year deal from the Accra-based Division One League club, EuroAfrica and has been solid at the defense of the Porcupine Warriors.
He has featured in all the eight Premier League games for the Porcupine Warriors.
The Black Galaxies are already in camp for preparations. They are expected to leave Ghana in due time to continue preparations for the tournament which starts from January 13th to February 4th 2022.
Ghana are in Group C along with current champions, Morocco, Madagascar and Sudan.
