Information available to Ghanasportspage.com indicates Ghana Premier League side Karela United has been sold to Minority leader in Ghana’s Parliament Haruna Iddrisu.
Though the details of the transaction between both parties concerning the sale of the club is not fully known, Ghanasportspage can confirm that ownership of Karela United has been fully transferred to Haruna Iddrisu.
Former Nigerian Senator David Brigidi bought the team in 2013 and qualified them to the Ghana Premier League five years after the acquisition of the Club.
Senator David Brigidi passed away in 2018 leaving the team in financial difficulties that resulted in the owner selling it to the Minority leader in Parliament.
