Black Galaxies of Ghana stepped up their preparations for the upcoming CHAN tournament with a 2-0 triumph over GPL side, Legon Cities at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence on Thursday.
The team secured the victory courtesy of two first half goals from Slyvester Simba and Evans Osei-Owusu.
Sylvester Simba of Dreams FC broke the deadlock in the 2nd minute before Tema Youth talisman, Evans Osei-Owusu completed the double for the Black Stars B in the 36th minute.
Coach Annor Walker’s side will continue to test other GPL and Division One League side as part of preparations for the CHAN tournament.
They claimed a 2-1 comeback win over Hearts of Oak over the weekend at the same venue.
Ghana have been paired in Group C of the competition alongside title holders, Morocco, Madagascar and Sudan.
The two-time finalists are expected to leave Ghana to continue preparations for the seventh edition of the competition in Saudi Arabia or Spain.
The CHAN tournament will kick start from 13th January to 4th February, 2023 in Algeria.
