Accra Hearts of Oak have reportedly changed their home venue towards the resumption of the league according to their spokesman, Kwame Opare Addo.
The Accra Sports Stadium from now, will not be available for the team’s trading their top-flight games as their home grounds.
Reports indicate, the National Sports Authority (NSA have rented the Accra Sports Stadium to musicians for the Christmas moments which includes concerts.
The Accra Sports Stadium will only be available for football in the second week of January 2023.
This will affect three teams, thus Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Accra Lions, and Great Olympics as reported.
With the Ghanaian top-flight set to resume on Monday, December 19, the said clubs have been notified to move their league matches to a new venue because the nation’s Wembley will not be available for football.
“The NSA has written to notify us that the Accra sports stadium is closed until after 7th January” Opare Addo told Ghanasaportspage.com
Accra Great Olympics and Accra Lions are considering adopting Sogakope Red Bull Arena as the new home venue for their league matches.
Elsewhere, the Rainbows will also move to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium when the league resumes.
The Rainbows will travel to play Nsoatreman when the league resumes before hosting Bechem United.
