Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed that goalkeeper Richmond Ayi has signed a three-year contract extension at the club.
The experienced goalkeeper was due to become a free agent, but will now remain at the club until 2025 after the club exercised their option to extend his deal.
Ayi has appeared as one of the best goalkeepers in the local league.
He joined the Phobians in 2018 under a four-year contract.
He has primarily served as back-up to Richard Attah in the domestic league, though he has enjoyed a run of consecutive starts in the ongoing campaign.
He was in the posts when the team defeated Beechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to defend the MTN FA Cup.
