Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Franck Etouga Mbella rediscovered his scoring boots as Al Masry draw 2-2 with Arab Contractors.
Mbella cancelled the visitors 1-0 lead in the 42nd minutes and enjoyed full throttle to help his side to share spoils with a 2-2 score on Week 8 of the Egyptian Premier League.
It was Mbella’s first goal for the Egyptian side since joining them from Asante Kotoko after the 2021/22 season.
He has been featured in just 4 games out of five for Al Masry, having sidelined from three games and benched twice.
He would be hoping to stay fit and enjoy more game time this season.
Staying in top form would be good news for the Cameroonian international who aims to emulate his GPL record in Egypt.
He scored 21 times for the Porcupine Warriors and led the side to annex the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
As the Egyptian Premier League continues, Mbella will be eyeing more goals before the season ends.
They sit tenth on the league table with 8 points.
