Kumasi Asante Kotoko returned to the top four after coming from a goal down to beat Berekum Chelsea 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko dominated the opening 45 minutes but could not find a breakthrough as Emmanuel Sarpong put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute.
However, the Porcupine Warriors stormed back, with goals from Eric Zeze and Steven Mukwala completing the turnaround, to secure a place in the top four again.
Mukwala, who won the MOTM award had an amazing performance in the game. He tried to extend the lead for the hosts but he was denied by the referee to make it 3.
The victory sees Seydou Zerbo’s men, who are aiming to defend the title in the second place with 17 points, two points behind leaders, Aduana Stars, while Chelsea sit eight with 13 points.
The Porcupine Warriors will visit Aduana Stars on January 1, 2023 in week 10 of the BetPawa Premier League.
