Ghana’s leading sports site ghanasportspage.com can confirm Aduana Stars forward Bright Adjei couldn’t travel with Black Galaxies to Egypt despite making the final squad ahead of the CHAN tournament in Algeria.
The 27-year-old striker was announced in Coach Annor Walker’s final-man squad for the CHAN tournament.
The Black Galaxies left the shores of Ghana Saturday morning to pitch an 18-day camp in Egypt where they will taste several friendly matches before travelling to Algeria where the tournament will be staged.
According to a close source, Bright was left out of the boys who made a short trip to Egypt this morning and he’s currently in Ghana, Dormaa Ahenkro.
The forward left Black Galaxies camp when coach Annor Walker gave the team a break and he never joined them when they resumed but made the final cut for the tournament.
The Black Galaxies are paired with Madagascar, Sudan, and Morocco in Group C.
Ghana is returning to the competition after missing the last three editions.
