Morocco is issuing its requirements to participate in the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2022) scheduled in Algeria from January 13 to February 4, 2023. The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) stepped up to the plate on Tuesday.
As CHAN approaches in Algeria, the participating countries are rushing to be there. Morocco will be represented by its under-23 selection. This Tuesday, during a meeting of the FRMF steering committee, President Fouzi Lekjaa reiterated this option.
In addition, the kingdom wants to put its delegation in better condition. To this end, the leader indicated that his organization requested, in a correspondence addressed to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), that the reception of the selections respects the specifications of the competition.
Morocco requires in particular that its selection joins Constantine via a direct flight from Rabat aboard a plane of Royal Air Maroc, official carrier of the national teams. If this condition is not respected, Morocco will simply boycott the competition.
The title holders are in same group with Ghana, Madagascar and Sudan.
