Black Queens of Ghana Captain, Elizabeth Addo has joined Al Hilal Ladies in the Saudi Arabian Professional Women’s League.
Addo who completes a season-long deal with Al Hilal Ladies was announced by the team officials on their Instagram page as “The international midfielder “Elizabeth” joins Al-Hilal from Ghana | Welcome to the adult stronghold”, Al Hilal ladies.
“Addo has the game-changing ability and has been in Asia with a great experience which is important for her in adapting to our style of play.” Chairman Saad bin Nafel told ghanasportspage.com.
Addo (29) played her debut yesterday, 30th December and helped her newly signed team Al Hilal to a 6-3 victory against Al Nasr with one assist.
Addo joins the Turkish top-flight side Besiktas last season on a short-term deal. This is her 12th Foreign club in ten( 10). Addo first joins Nigerian giants Rivers Angels F.C. from 2012 to 2014. She later joined Serbian side ZFK Spartak Subotica before moving to Ferencvarosi (Hungary) and Swedish side Kvarnsvedens IK (Sweden). She then completes a move to Cyprus to join Apollon Limassol where she was on a short-term contract.
The young talented Black Queens Captain also enjoyed her football life at Seattle Reign FC (USA), Western Sydney (Australia), North Carolina Courage (USA) and Djurgardens IF (USA).
Before playing for the Cypriot First Division team, she was a member of the Chinese team Jiangsu Suning, champions of the Chinese Women’s Super League. The forward helped the team win three major titles, scoring five goals and having seven assists in 14 games.
