Black Galaxies captain Gladson Awako says the team has the goal to perform well and put Ghana on the map again at the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria

Captain Awako in an interview with the GFA media team disclosed the team’s readiness for the tournament and poised to make it a success for themselves and the country at large.

“Everything has been good right from Prampram to where we are now. We’ve had a couple of games and I think the performances have been very good.”

“Everyone is cooperating well and our technical team is also doing all they can to make sure we can get to the level where we can be ready for the tournament.”

He adds that the team is in high spirits and awaits for the tournament to kick off and taste their first game against Madagascar.

“We are calm, well motivated and waiting for the official commencement of the tournament so we can showcase to the world what we are made of and also make our nation proud. We are going to put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians”, he added.
