Outgoing Hearts of Oak attacker, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh would earn a monthly salary in excess of GHS124,000 at Swiss Super League side FC Zurich, according to Ghana Sports Online.
Barnieh, 21, completed his move to the Stadion Letzigrund earlier this week as he signed a three-year-contract with the 13-time Swiss champions.
Reports indicate Afriyie Barnieh would gain $12,000 every month.
The figure could rise in bonuses and other ad-ons.
Barnieh spent three seasons at Hearts of Oak where he won 1 Ghana Premier League, 2 MTN FA Cup titles as well as the President’s Cup.
He also won the CAF U20 AFCON title with Ghana and was a member of the Black Stars squad that played at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Barnieh is currently with the Black Galaxies of Ghana for the African Nations Championship in Algeria and will only join his new home after the tournament.
