Abdul Aziz Issah scored early in the game to open the account for Dreams FC against Medeama in match week 11 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
Dreams FC were hoping to return to winning ways after splitting points with newly promoted side Samatex last weekend. Dreams FC opened the scoring in the 2nd minute through Abdul Aziz Issah.
The Still Believe went into the halftime break leading the tie 2-0 with Agyenim Boateng Mensah grabbing the second in the 3rd minute.
After recess, Agyenim Boateng Mensah increased the lead for Dreams FC with his second goal of the game. The homesters maintained the momentum of the game despite leading with the mauve and yellow by 3:0. David Van Dijk added the fourth goal for the believers in the 90th minute.
Medeama tried scoring through Ansu Kofi Patrick’s solo effort but the Dreams FC goalkeeper came to the intervention of the Dawu-based club.
The Mauve and yellow failed to make it back-to-back wins. They currently sit 11th on the table with 14 points while Dreams FC remains in the mixed zone on the table.
