Coach Seydou Zerbo gave honest assessment of his team’s performance against Great Olympics.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a frustrating 1-1 home draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the BetPawa Premier League week 11 clash.
The visitors took the lead in the 47th minutes but the Porcupine Warriors never looked disappointed – they kept pushing and restored parity through Andrews Kwadwo Appau’s late minutes strike.
The display was far below the standards Coach Seydou Zerbo expected. He admitted his side did not perform well and made some individual mistakes against the Dade Boys.
“We never played well but at the end of it we got one point out of the three points. We will take it like that. It was a mistake from individual play at the defence and from the right side of the field. That is where the problem comes from. We made a lot of mistakes and conceded,” Coach Seydou Zerbo told StarTimes.
The Porcupine Warriors will come up against Tamale City at home on Wednesday. The draw leaves them at the second place with 19 points from 11 games.
