Great Olympics head coach, Yaw Preko has said Kumasi Asante Kotoko does not deserve to draw with his side on Sunday.
The Dade Boys were on the verge of securing the three points with Abdul Bashiru’s goal but they were forced to draw when Andrews Kwadwo Appau scored late to level in the dying embers of the game.
The gaffer believes his side should have won and Kotoko does not deserve a point.
“We squandered opportunities. When you are playing against a team like Kotoko and Hearts of Oak. You have to kill them when you get the chance. It happened to us in our game against Hearts of Oak. Hearts of Oak equalized with the last set piece of the game and same thing happened against Kotoko.
“It feels like a defeat. No disrespect to Asante Kotoko. This is the shadow of Kotoko and we shouldn’t be satisfied with the draw because Hearts and Kotoko can kill everybody when they are in their peak. We created a lot of chances, we got them, the game plan really worked, we controlled the game and they were not getting any chances. We were hitting them on counter but this job us unbelievable but because doesn’t deserved a point,” Coach Yaw Preko disclosed in a post match remarks with StarTimes.
The two-time league champions will be back in action with Bibiani Gold Stars on Thursday in Accra. They sit tenth on the league log from eleven games.
