Asante Kotoko drew 1-1 against Great Olympics, in a Premier League match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Despite failing to snatch the maximum points, Kotoko did not give up but could not get the goal that would give them the victory, coming out blank in this match, and dividing the points.
Asante Kotoko had the earliest chances but Great Olympics took the lead during the 47th minute through Abdul Bashiru.
The Porcupine Warriors improved and scored the equalizer through Andrews Kwadwo Appau, but there was to be no further scoring, as the two sides took a point apiece from the encounter.
The result leaves Kotoko in second and the Olympics 10th in the table.
