Deputy captain for Kotoku Royals, Dzikoe Richard has reacted to their tricky trip to face league leaders, Aduana Stars on match day 12 in the Ghanaian topflight.
The newcomers will be targeting a third Premier League win over the Ogya Boys when they lock horns at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on Thursday.
Dzikoe, who scored the winning goal and won the MVP in their 2-1 success over Berekum Chelsea says they are well prepared and nothing less than a point will be good, having returned to win ways after nine-game winless run.
“We are not afraid because we watched their game against Gold Stars. They are a good side but we can still match them per what we saw. We want nothing less than a point from Dormaa. We have rectified our mistakes and I don’t think we are going to lose again because our position on the league table is not good,” Dzikoe told Ghanasportspage.com.
Kotoku Royals have picked two wins, drawn one and lost seven of their 11 league games of the season to collect seven points, which has left them in 18th position, five points from the safety of 15th position.
The team’s first league victory of the campaign came last time out, though, with Augustine Boakye on the scoresheet in a 1-0 victory over Accra Lions in Cape Coast.
They managed to pick up a point at home against Nsoatreman on week three before conceding eight consecutive defeats.
