Congolese midfielder, Linda Mtange who joined Hearts of Oak in September last year was welcomed with a loud cheer by the Rainbow fans on his debut against King Faisal when he came off the bench to replace Benjamin Yorke.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was introduced in the 65th minute to make his GPL debut.
Linda himself had a quiet but decent showing in his first appearance in the Ghanaian league.
Although the Phobians fired blanks but the Congo U-20 player gave a glimpse of what Hearts fans will expect to see from him.
He offered a flavour of what he will bring to the table, as well as producing good passes.
And the Rainbow fans are already waxing lyrical about him following his 25 minute cameo against King Faisal on Thursday. He will be hoping to do enough to impress the Phobians to bag himself in the first team.
Hearts of Oak currently rank third on the league table – four points off the first position.
