Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC player Emmanuel Sarkodie is said to be unhappy at the club and has opted to end his relationship with the Porcupine warriors.
The midfielder sealed a switch from Division One side Nkoranza Warriors to the Ghana Premier League giants Kotoko after inking a three-year deal with the Kumasi-based club in 2020.
According to our depth source, the midfielder has arrived at Winneba and joined his new teammates in Winneba.
In an exclusive interview with the leading sports site in Ghana, Ghanasportspage.com the head coach of the club, Frimpong Manso revealed the experienced midfielder has joined his camp.
” Sarkodie arrived in camp yesterday, (Sunday 16th January 2023) after leaving Kotoko. He comes with a lot of experience and quality and he will help us in diverse ways”, he told Ghanasportspage.com.
He failed to cement his position in the Kotoko team upon his arrival three seasons ago which led to the club loaning him to King Faisal.
At King Faisal, the young midfielder failed to leave a mark for himself and fell in the pecking order.
The winneba-based side is playing its first season in the ongoing Division One league season Zone II.
