The Rainbows appeared in a race with Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars to sign the Black Galaxies defender in July.
Randolph will compete with Samuel Inkoom at the right-back position should the Rainbows complete his signing.
The defender is currently in the camp of the Black Galaxies for the CHAN tournament in Algeria. He was in action when they lost 2-1 to Madagascar in their group opener on Sunday.
