Accra Hearts of Oak are now focusing on strengthening their team after Fatawu Mohammed, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Mohammed Alhassan, and Junior Kaaba’s exit as they seek to tighten their seat belts for the league title.
The report indicates they have decided against adding Christopher Nettey to their squad.
The Rainbow club was considered as one of his most obvious destinations, following his exit from the Porcupine Warriors and the possibility of joining the forward was one of many subjects discussed.
However, Ghanasportspage.com understands that the club will not be making a bid for Nettey, who left Kotoko in December last year.
Now the technical team and the board have decided to keep their eyes on Karela United’s Augustine Randolph and he is being earmarked to be their main target to replace ex-captain Fatawu Mohammed.
As reported on Tuesday, the club are ready to sign the defender whose style has impressed the management of the club as they seek to secure his services to boost their squad.
Randolph is currently with the Black Galaxies for the ongoing CHAN tournament in Algeria.
