Former Asante Kotoko attacker, Kwame Poku has claimed his one month salary in Algeria can take care of him for a whole year unlike Ghana.
The USM Algiers forward added the Algerian league is one of the best and among the top five leagues in Africa.
Speaking in an interview with Angel Floodlight Sports on Wednesday, he said: “Things have changed in my life. Their payment is good unlike Ghana. Even you can spend one month salary in a year and you will be okay. There was time that our salaries were not coming for almost five months. Some of the players were complaining but one player who was very close to me told me he has money and even one month salary can take care of you in a year. I spend around ¢50,000 a year and I think you can do it if you don’t like spending,” he stated.
The belligerent striker after almost two years stint with USM Algiers in the Algerian top flight and a short move to the Suadi professional league respectively is reported to have begun talks for a come back to the club that offered him the limelight to achieve a moneymaking journey.
It has been confirmed Kwame Poku is in talks to rejoin Asante Kotoko after two years.
