Medeama have mutually parted ways with midfielder Hans Kwofie by mutual consent, the club confirmed on Friday.
The 2017 GPL top scorer was outstanding in the just finished season for Legon Cities and was involved in 11 goals, having scored 7 and provided 4 assists in the league only.
The 33 year old joined the Mauves and Yellows for a year, with an option to extend based on his performance and has struggled to make an impact since joining his boyhood club.
The player on the final day of the window agreed to rejoin his former club and is also ready to thrill his hometown fans after seven years in the upcoming football season.
“Medeama thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells in Tarkwa and wish him well in his future endeavours” a club statement read
