The MTN FA Cup round of 32 have come to an end with a few shocking results seeing some big teams exit the competition earlier than expected as Skyy FC progress over GPL side Karela United.
Hearts of Oak’s title defence dream ended on Sunday following a shocking 1-0 defeat to Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Meanwhile, their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko are through to the next stage after picking a 2-1 win over ‘stubborn’ Benab FC in Kumasi on Saturday.
Nine Premier League clubs including King Faisal, Aduana Stars and Kotoku Royals sailed through from the Round of 32 and will join seven clubs from the first division in the round of 16.
