Sylvester Appiah to Accra Hearts of Oak is now reportedly a done deal. The player will join the Rainbows on a free transfer from Dynamos FC a few days after leaving the Zimbabwean club.
The Ghanaian defender was released by Dynamos FC after his contract expired in December.
He is one of seven players released by Dynamos after they finished third in the league instead of first.
According to a close source, the Rainbows have reportedly completed the signing of the Ghanaian defender. Sylvester is currently in Ghana and has started training with the team since the coach traveled to Serbia for health treatment.
In January 2020, the Ghanaian defender joined DeMbare from ZPC Kariba.
He was adjudged 2019 ZPC Kariba’s Player of the Year following an incredible campaign after beating Zimbabwe international defender Ian Nekati.
Accra Hearts of Oak have already signed Clinton Appiah and Hamza Mohammed but remain in the hunt for new faces to bolster their squad as their only realistic chance of a trophy is the Premier League following their shocking 1-0 defeat to Dreams FC in the MTN FA Cup round of 32 clashes on Sunday.
Sylvester will join the 2020/21 GPL winners on a two-year deal.
