As Accra Hearts of Oak look to strengthen their primary area of weakness this January, many names have been thrown into the hat as possible targets to bolster their squad.
According to a recent report from Phobian News, the Rainbows have added Cameroonian forward, Eonde Albert Diego to their growing list of targets.
And after parting ways with Junior Kaaba and selling Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to FC Zurich, Hearts will have to find their possible replacements.
Diego has been one of the most sought-after wingers in the Zimbabwean elite league and scored 12 goals in 17 games for his club.
The club’s head coach, Slavko Matic is said to be eager to work with the forward having watched his videos.
They will push for the signing of the player in the coming days, giving Diego’s availability and will hope to have the Cameroonian forward in their team.
Hearst of Oak remain focused for the Premier League title after the FA Cup exit. Their hope of defending the title was halted by Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
They now sit 4th with 24 points in the Premier League table – three points off the first place.
They will face a stern test this weekend as they take on Medeama SC in the BetPawa Premier League in Tarkwa.
