Former FC Basel player, Samuel Inkoom has been unveiled as the new ambassador and transfer executive by Stari World Ghana, the organization announced on Thursday, January 26, 2022.
Stari World is a platform for football fans, rising talents, and invests lots of resources in Ghana to develop young football talents.
“I’m so happy for this appointment and I support Stari World’s bid to develop young football talents. I will also help to develop the young ones,” Inkoom stated.
The Black Stars right-back currently plays for Ghana Premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak.
Inkoom was among Ghana’s U-20 squad that won the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
He also won the Ghana Premier League in 2008 with Asante Kotoko, before joining Swiss giants Basel.
The experienced right-back played for the Black Stars between 2008 and 2016, featuring at numerous Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), as well as the 2010 FIFA World Cup, where Ghana reached the quarter-finals and helping the country to reach the 2015 AFCON finals in.
He played for eleven different clubs outside Ghana including Portuguese side Boavista and Turkish club, Antalyaspor.
