Former Hearts Of Oak strikers steals the show for his new club Bibiani Gold Stars just two days after his announcement.
Bibiani faced off with newly promoted side Tamale City at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in the match day 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Michael Osei of Bibiani Gold Stars named the veteran striker on the substitution bench to monitor proceedings from that end.
Abednego Tetteh eventually had the chance to make his debut for Gold Stars at a point his team were down to a 2-1 scoreline. He quickly geared himself and fired his team back in the game.
In the dying minutes of the game, the striker powered his team to a 3-2 results amassing all the needed 3 points for his side and grabbing his second in his debut.
Tetteh’s goal proved to be enough for Gold Stars as they narrowly beat Tamale city at their own backyard.
The former Bechem United and Hearts Of Oak striker joined King Faisal before the start of the league season but did not live up to expectations. He made ten appearances for the club during his four-month stay without making an impact.
Tetteh was a member of the Bechem United team that won the FA Cup in 2016. He also had stints with Al-Hilal, Jimma Aba Buna and Indian sides Real Kashmir and TRAU..
