Accra Hearts of Oak has injury concerns ahead of today’s visit at the Akoon Park against Medeama SC this afternoon in the BetPawa Premier League matchday 14. Isaac Mensah and Caleb Amankwah are on the team’s injury list. Amankwah has been ruled out for a month to rest.
Meanwhile, Gideon Asante, who missed the team’s FA Cup round of 32 clash against Dreams FC has returned to the match squad.
Hearts of Oak are winless in their last two Premier League matches and will be hoping to redeem their image in the game against Mauves and yellows this afternoon.
They have yet to win Tarkwa in their last two games at the Akoon Park – with both encounters ending 1-0 in favour of Medeama SC. The Rainbows have 21 points and sit in 4th place, three points adrift of leaders Aduana FC who are on 24 points.
With the likes of Caleb Amankwah, Gladson Awako, Konadu Yiadom, Dennis Korsah and Suraj Seidu missing, the Phobians will rely on Kwadwo Obeng Junior, Salifu Ibrahim, Enoch Asuboteng and Eric Esso for the epic clash.
