Defending champions of the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko will unveil their new signings, Rashid Nortey and Matheus Medieros on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before their game against Kotoku Royals.
The Porcupine Warriors announced the signing of highly-rated midfielder Rashid Nortey on January 18 in the ongoing transfer on two and a half-year deal.
He joined the Ghanaian champions as a free agent after leaving Medeama SC on January 12 following the expiration of his contract.
The club also welcomed Brazilian attacker, Matheus Medieros on Friday, January 27. He penned a six-month deal with a plus one-year option to extend.
The duo will be presented as Kotoko players to the fans at 5:00pm before they take on struggling Kotoku Royals at 6:00pm in Kumasi.
Nortey, who finalised his Kotoko move few days ago, could feature in Sunday’s clash against the newboys.
