Kotoku Royals were put to the sword as Asante Kotoko handed out a rough lesson to claim a 5-1 victory in the BetPawa Premier League on Sunday.
Coach Seydou Zerbo’s side turned on the style against an increasingly tired and open Kotoku Royals, who sit bottom of the league with seven points.
Steven Mukwala scored twice. Richmond Lamptey, Eric Zeze, and Sarfo Taylor scored the other three goals.
Ex-Kotoko forward, Andy Kumi also pulled one back for the visitors.
Kotoko, though, march on in their quest for a back-to-back Premier League title having earned the win that guarantees second spot in the league with 24 points – one point off the leaders, Aduana Stars.
