Real Tamale United captain and Accra Hearts of Oak target, David Abagna has reportedly sign a deal with Sudanese giants, Al Hilal after Ghana’s elimination from the CHAN tournament in Algeria.
The 24-year-old has left the camp of the Black Galaxies in Algeria to Sudan. He will sign a three-year contract with the Crescent as he joins from the Ghana Premier League side for an undisclosed amount.
He is set to undergo his medical examination today or Tuesday after failing to join Accra Hearts of Oak.
Despite Ghana’s elimination from the CHAN tournament, Abagna was instrumental for the national team.
He was named man of the match in the second group match against Sudan in which Ghana won 3-1 in the end at Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine.
The midfielder bagged 9 goals and 3 assists in 16 appearances for RTU who had just returned to the Ghanaian top-flight.
