Asante Kotoko winger Stephen Amankona rejoins his boyhood club Berekum Chelsea.
The former captain Stephen Amankona joined Asante Kotoko in 2021 from Berekum Chelsea and aided the porcupine warriors to clinch the 2021/2022 league season.
Life at Kumasi couldn’t bill to the expectation and has opted to move back to his boyhood club in Berekum.
He was instrumental for the Berekum Chelsea in the Ghanaian top-flight in the 2020/21 season where he netted 10 goals in 28 matches before making a move to Asante Kotoko.
Berekum Chelsea in a post announced it had signed Stephen Amankona on a permanent deal.
