Accra Hearts of Oak will host their city rivals, Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium this afternoon in the BetPawa Premier League and Coach Slavko Matic is expected to maintain his winning team today.

The Serbian tactician will charge his boys to claim another win following last weekend’s historic victory over Medeama SC.

Already guaranteed to be without Gladson Awako, Konadu Yiadom, Suraj Seidu, and Dennis Korsah, the team is still having nearly full squad with 20 players available for selection today. Hearts have seen all of Salifu Ibrahim and Isaac Mensah sustain injuries in the past week.

The duo missed the weekend’s vital win against Medeama SC, although they are expected to be back for the derby.

Richmond Ayi will still be in posts while Inkoom, who captained the team last weekend starts with Caleb Amankwaa, and Addo Sowah in defence.

Eric Esso Esso and Linda Mtange are expected to commence the game in midfield and with few attacking options, Obeng Junior will still lead the lines.

The FA Cup holders have now confirmed the signing of Congolese attacker, Eonde Albert on a free transfer but he will start training after today’s game.

With victory, Hearts can move to the first position depending on the result from the game between Dreams FC and leaders Aduana Stars.

Hearts of Oak’s possible line-up against Legon Cities:

Richmond Ayi GK

Samuel Inkoom

Robert Addo Sowah

Yaw Amankwaa Baafi

Glid Otanga

Clinton Appiah

Ouatching Yassan

Linda Mtange

Eric Esso

Caleb Amankwaa

Obeng Junior
