Asante Kotoko head coach, Seydou Zerbo admits the performance of his team has been far below the expected level and the boss has claimed there is a bit difference as compared to last season.
The Porcupine Warriors dropped league points again in Ayinaase following a 1-0 defeat to Karela.
After the game, the Burkinabé tactician came out to offer his assessment on another result that was tough to take and leaves them trailing leaders Aduana Stars by four points.
“Kotoko for last season is not Kotoko for this season. There is a bit difference and difference of players who are playing. We are still working on that to see to that the team will get back to its glorious days”
Kotoko need to find a run of form if they are to defend the league title.
They have made new signings to bolster their squad but struggles when they are put to test.
