Konadu Yiadom will miss Hearts of Oak’s game against Real Tamale United, Africasportspage.com can confirm.
Hearts of Oak arrived in Tamale on Friday evening for the game which is scheduled for Sunday at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
The defender was named in the team’s 19-man squad along with Dennis Korsah after returning from the CHAN tournament with the Black Galaxies but failed to make the trip to the Northern Region, per Africasportspage.com.
With his absence, only 18 players will be available for selection. The team will now rely on Samuel Inkoom, Rashid Okine, Zakaria Yakubu, Caleb Amankwaa, and Dennis Korsah in defence.
Hearts of Oak drew goalless with Legon Cities in their last game in Accra following the historic win over Medeama SC.
Currently, the Rainbows sit fourth on the league table with 25 points adrift of leader Aduana Stars.
They will be determined to grab all three points and close the gap.
