Real Tamale United coach, Baba Nuhu has eulogized Manaf Umar following his outstanding performance against Accra Hearts Of Oak over the weekend.
Manarf who joined Real Tamale United before the start of the 2022/2023 campaign has been impressive for the club simdethis arrival.
The midfielder grabbed the headline again following his impressive goal against his former employers Hearts Of Oak at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
Prior to the game, Baba Nuhu side had suffered a 6-2 defeat to Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Wednesday.
But Manaf Umar’s wonderful strike in the 83rd minute mark ensured RTU return to winning ways.
Speaking after the game, the former Black Princess head coach described Manaf as a superb player for his outstanding display
“The Manaf Umar goal was special because he was rejected by Hearts of Oak and we grabbed him with our two hands”
Hearts Of Oak have dropped to the 5th spot with 25 points while RTU moves to 7th position with 24 points after 16 matches.
