• Coach Abdul Karim Zito speaks candidly to Ghanasportspage.com about Dreams FC’s game against Asante Kotoko, insisting his boys haven’t taken their leg off the gas as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the Porcupine Warriors.
After going winless in their last three Premier League games, the former U-20 boss is optimistic his side can beat Asante Kotoko to strengthen their stand in the league.
Coach Karim Zito admits the Porcupine Warriors have started getting their rhythm but his team is poised to upset the Reds.
“Checking their matches of late, it seems like they have started getting their rhythm. Everyone is aware Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs in the country.
“Mostly, preparations and motivation factors for Kotoko game are different.
“When you look at our trend I think we lost against Chelsea in Berekum, we couldn’t make amendment against Aduana, we were lucky to draw with Olympics in Accra, now we are to meet Asante Kotoko. They are ahead of us when you compare our meetings. They’ve won four in our last six games.
“To me is a big game but we should try our best to beat them to enhance our stand in the league. This is the last match for the first round. We should be able to do something better to enhance our position in the league,” Coach Karim Zito told Ghanasportspage.com
The game will be played at the Dawu Park on Sunday at 3:00 pm. It will be the last game for the first round of the Ghanaian top-flight.
