Coach Slavko Matic has expressed disappointment in Hearts of Oak fans for their negative reactions about the team.
The Serbian tactician believes his side can make ‘real progress’ in the next few weeks – if Hearts of Oak fans get behind the team and stop making bad comments about his side.
Coach Slavko Matic was critical of Hearts fans after the club’s 3-1 win against Berekum Chelsea.
“Am very disappointed in the supporters, why those negative reactions? You can’t support a team like that.
“When the team losses then you will hear all kinds of negative reactions from the supporters, we need supporters not fans. Am very disappointed in them. When the team losses, they should support the boys but not only when we win,” he told StarTimes.
Before Chelsea game, the 1-0 defeat to RTU had left Hearts of Oak fans frustrated.
Four of their next five matches will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium and Matic believes they can build momentum if supporters get behind them.
