Dreams FC boss, Abdul Karim Zito has reacted to his side’s 2-0 win over Asante Kotoko, which has moved them to the ninth place on the league table.
Heading into the match, the Porcupine Warriors were tipped as the favorites, having dismantled Accra Lions 4-0 in Kumasi but Dreams FC appeared as the lucky side and were able to get back to winning ways through Aholou Gael Avocevou and Agyenim Boateng Mensah.
A 2-0 home win over Kotoko ended a run of three league games without a win for Dreams FC.
Speaking after the game the ex-Ghana U-20 coach said: “I think when you look at the previous matches we played it wasn’t easy. Playing Chelsea, coming back to play Aduana, going to play Olympics before Kotoko. It wasn’t easy for me so I had to work seriously with the boys in order break that genes between Dreams and Kotoko. Am trying to reduce the defeat I’ve conceded against them. Now it is 6-3 and am happy that all the three was being managed by me.
“We worked and I told the boys there’s no excuse for us if they lose. I warned them to enter the field with positive attitude. That worked to perfection,” he revealed in a post-match interview with StarTimes.
